PCCV has been dedicated to helping women, teens and families in the Central Virginia area since we opened our doors in 1984. We offer a safe and confidential environment for women to receive counseling, information and services. We do not profit from your decision in any way. We are here solely as a resource for you.

PCCV offers 99.9% accurate, laboratory-certified urine tests. Pregnancy testing is private and the results of your test are completely confidential, free and immediate.
It is beneficial to talk through your feelings and emotions, especially when facing an unplanned pregnancy. Our trained peer counselors are here to listen and support you. We provide non-biased, medically-accurate information on abortion and abortion alternatives, including adoption and parenting, in a private setting. We give you the chance to get the information you need and to ask the questions you may have so that you can make the best choice for you and your future.

We offer limited medical services including ultrasound. An ultrasound is now required in the state of Virginia 24 hours prior to an abortion. It confirms pregnancy and how far along you are. Learn more about PCCV’s ultrasounds here.
If you wish to proceed with your pregnancy, we provide the appropriate forms you may need to apply for Medicaid insurance and Social Services.
The Central Virginia area has a network of organizations and resources to help and support pregnant women. Our counselors are well-informed about all that the community has to offer and can provide useful information depending on what your needs are, including insurance, support groups, classes, maternity homes, adoption agencies and material assistance.
